Terms of service

We research the house from public records and archives available to us and write only what the sources support. We cannot promise that any particular record exists for every property; we tell you what we find before your book is made.

You keep the rights to the photographs and documents you upload and confirm that you may use them. You give us permission to use them only to make and print your book.

We print the edition you approve, exactly as shown in the proof. Please read it carefully; once approved it cannot be changed. We reprint at our cost any book with a printing or binding defect.

Payment, taxes, discounts and refunds are handled through our checkout provider, Shopify. Because each book is made to order, refunds after approval are limited to defects and delivery problems.
